STANDING TOGETHER
 
The culturally diverse Muslim community in the United States along with Christian Arab Americans condemn in the strongest terms possible the vicious and cowardly acts of terrorism against the United States.
 
We join with our fellow Americans in calling for swift apprehension and punishment of the perpetrators of this heinous crime.  No cause could ever be assisted by such immoral acts.
 
We are shocked and saddened by this tragedy and we wish to express our condolences to the families of those who were killed or injured.  Moreover, along with other Houstonians, we are giving blood, helping in the rescue efforts, volunteering our collective medical expertise, collecting donations for the victims and most importantly our prayers are with all of those affected by this unspeakable tragedy.
 
We are all Americans and we stand united.
